A MONTH ago I built my first box and resined the inside and outside of the box. I cant get my vehicle clear of the smell of the resin- Will it ever go away or is it just the name of the game? Everything hardened and dried well and then I spray painted it. But the resin smell is still kickin like it just got brushed on. any ideas or helps?

it will go away over time. Even though this is ohio, it will take time for the smell to go away. The smell will be strongest during hot days, when your car has been shut for a while, etc. It's that curing that happens in the heat and release of chemicals means that it's curing to a crisper crystal structure. Gaining strength if done properly, but it will get better, that's my point.

You can try either an ozone machine or put a bucket of water in the car...either should help absorb the smell.

You can get styrene monomer smell inhibitor...places that do glass work in or near residential areas use it to cut the smell down.
BYK Chemie used to send you enough free samples to do either 50 or 500 gallons of resin.
