Hello. Please advise me glue for recone kit. Is Loctite 480 sufficient?

that is excellent glue for reconning!

on the other hand it is very expencive to buy unless you got some for free i would go to Tim Roy for the glue ,aloooot cheaper...

I use 480 to , it works perfect , its thin , but ones you are used to work with it , you can do sweet things [Wink]

@ Pimpin : Petis is from Czech Republic [Wink] Tim Roy would be able to get him cheap glue but shipping and tax on it would get the price bigger then glue prices in Europe [Smile]

Pimpin: perhaps for only my information. How much is glue from Tim Roy? in this country costs Loctite 480 50 gramme 50 Euro.

another questions. I have to stick spider to coil. Be enough without consequence compare on toll. or I have to use special preparation which centering coil to spider exactly

if u dont have expirience with reconing a TRF or a cactus sub i suggest u look for someone to do it for u

unless u use the same coil impedance , u can messure the distance from the spiders on the coil and put them at the same place

Thanks, I have Cactus recone DVC 0,7ohms. i make distance coil/spider according to TRF coil. Or buy Cactus basket:-))
