What is the best substance to permanently bond lexan/polycarb to mdf? I've heard there is something available for that purpose...or at least for plexi. I just prefer polycarbonate that's scratch and uv restistant(and stronger)

i have always made a gasket. i am sure there is several glues but would use screws too.

lexan is softer and easier to scratch but dosent crack. but will flex easier so you have to go thicker.

plexi is hard material but can crack.

i perfer plexi and go thick!

I know of an acrylic bonding adhesive but I am not sure if it bonds to MDF. It basically welds acrylic to acrylic.

i know i've heard of something before.

anyone ever seen a cnc-laser cutter? apparently some types won't do lexan, cuz it will actually reflect off lexan. which can blow open the cyanide cooling.

there is a way you can do it urself. go to a decal shop get it cut in rev stick it on the plexi sand the inter part with 600grit remove the decal and it looks frosted. i have done this on several jobs and when lit up looks great.
