I currently have a blowthrough, 2 - DD 9515's and 4000 watts for the pair. My main goal is just a loud daily driver. I have built a 6th order bandpass for my truck, but the thing is I need help getting louder. The one I built is 7 cu. ft in the rear tuned to 32 with 99 sq. in. The front chamber is 5 cu. ft. tuned to 74 with 120 sq. in. ported into the cab. I know some of you guys run bandpasses in your vehicles and are loud ass hell. I need advice, suggestions and a good starting point. I am willing to do a 4th or 6th order it doesn't really matter.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't had a chance to play with it much, but the wierd thing about this box is that it hits low and just about nothing else. I will play with it more and try more songs in the next week. If I have time I will maybe run a few sweeps on the TL to see where it peaks.

I did a search and found a thread talking about 2 9515's in a bandpass. In the thread, Alan Dante gave specs for a 4th order bandpass box. In the rear 5 cu ft sealed, the front 12 cu ft with 150 sq inches of port, 18 inches long. Does that sound about right? Here is the thread http://audioforum.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=026608Posts: 8 | From: Jacksonville, TX | Registered: Mar 2007

I don't think 9515 will play well in a 4th order BP.It's EBP is relatively high and asks for ported or 6th order BP.But 6th order is a very messy design. It's not that easy to have a good response or not have cancellations between the ported chambers..
