An 18" woofer that have more than 2" peak to peak capability for only $250 shipped sounds like an awesome deal, but is it any good for SQL? Also the power handling of only 1100 watts max sounds a bit weak for such a big woofer. I finally have some cash and I have a Viper 2500.1, I'll add batteries when I figure out what sub(s) I'm going to use. I'm also thinking about the new 15" Stroker because some dude on eBay is selling them dirt cheap and I'm nowhere near a good local dealer.

never used the eighteen, but have used the fifteens multiple times with great results. I'd say for the price and your sql application, you'd do well with it. If you were going strictly spl, they'd..work..but there would be better options out there for that at a slightly higher price point. 4.5 cuft ported to 27 hz seems to work nicely with them, whether in a house or car..so maybe have a universal bass monster for ht and car..or maybe buy two lol.
