My question is are these subs as good as the old xs series? My next question is has anyone used them in spl application? are they as loud as the old xs series? Would they be louder then Hollywood Excursion Pro subs?

they tend to lock up pretty quick, without their max burp power. seen it over and over. the old ones didnt do it like the new ones. they were fairly loud before frying, but the stamina wasnt there like they are hyped up to be. ive seen some 15 lock up on a pbx 3000d at 4 ohms.
