ok, i've got a 01 2 door blazer and i got 2 cvr 15's and about 10 cubes to work with. what would be the best set up for a daily driver but also competion..subs back/ports back or subs up ports back?? and what would be a good tuning freq.? sorry for the dumb questions, but i'm in a bind. thanks

Subs up, port back/to the side. For competition, I've seen subs forward with port back, don't know how that would do for daily considering port length and all.

this has worked well in my 03 4 door blazer.
7.5 cu. tuned at 40 hz.
works well for street beat comps , spl .
sounds very good.

I would have to agree mine is tuned to 38-40 peaking @ 55 thats 4 L7 12's on 2 orions 2500D subs up 4 4in aero ports

sub up/port back is whats loudest for comps for me. sub forward/port side driver is whats loudest daily, but sux in spl. subup port back is best all around. that setup did a 154@44hz wit 4 12 type Rs and 1 2500d@.5ohm [Wink]
