have you ever heard 1 9515 with 2500 stomp 2 w7s with 2500? I have. i W7s, the woofers sound much smoother than the 9515 but the attack and precise note changes in the DD is sick, plus they meter good. give it 6 tunedt to 35. my vote bvbe 2 9515s and a A DD Z1 thats about 3K with batteries and wire and get you some 1"MDF or good plywood and double it up and brace the hell out of it. you will put W7s to shame with that installed properly.

No prob man...I've had almost everything TREO has put out except for SSX's and they are truly amazing.......How big will your ported box be? I think Treo suggests a "aggressive" ported box at 2.5 per....Can't remember.....

for mine they suggests 1.75 cuft net tuned to 28hz. the box i will be building will be about 1.8 cuft after displacement tuned to 28hz. don't have the space in the trunk for anything bigger.

i had my treo ssi 18 in 4.3 cubes after and loved it, but the 1,000 watts rms i was putting to the sub was a joke, not enuf power for the sub, the sub was just starting to wake up i want to try a mtx 1500watt amp and see how the sub likes that, but im pretty much bass-less right now since i blew my sub amp

my ssi's pound hard in my new ported. its in a 1.65 cuft tuned to 30hz and its loud. the sq is still awesome too. i never thought these would sound so awesome in ported. thanks for the recomendation to go ported Hornets Nest.
i would post a pic of my subs in my new ported but i don't know how to upload pictures.
