Topic: Ports Outside the box?
When you make a ported box and put the ports on the outside of the box. Does the space they take up still have to be accounted for when designing the box? If so how do you calculate the space?------------------

No. You only need to account for their volume if they are in the box...Volume would be that of a cylinder (for a round port): Pi/4 *D*D * h where D is outside port diameter, h is port length and Pi is 3.1428...
