I want to buy 2 subs but still have not decided on the brand. I know those are all good subs, but what do I get? I will compete but also daily listening

btw

From what I hear the brahma will be better for SPL and still sound good. The XXX will just get really loud and sound good, lol I made that sound too similar didn't I. Personally I like RE over Adire, but I think both are awesome companies.

treo or re.....

the xxx and ssx as I know have no issues... as the brahma has a few while others had none... (go figure [Roll Eyes] )

i would go for the xxx if your doing a serious clean sounding system or something for clean lows.

if it came to BRUTAL street bass id definatly give it to the ssx but u need some serious power and power costs money.

XXX is the cheaper of the three, then the Brahma, then the SSX.

I'd choose the XXX, not only for bling factor (awesome motor), but the cost issue as well.

i can't speak for adire or resonant, i haven't had any personal experience with either. the ssx, is an awesome sub. intended to sound good and be a daily street banger. i just did a comp with mine, had 4800 watts on each sub (2 15's). had 2400 on each before, but at the lower elevation, wasn't getting the full output with my box set up. i didn't use all 4800 watts, but i would guesstamate 3500 to 4000 on each one. they threw well over 3" peak to peak and blew everybodies mind doing it. my box design is "sql", and it hits deep and has awesome snap/impact to it. believe me, i am a picky s.o.b. when it comes to a sub sounding good(not to get this confused with a pure sq intended set up). i run them xover at 80hz normally. i did a 155.2 with it this last time at 41 hz. not bad for a middle of the road application. i think anyway. treo has "bling bling" as well.

I have used all of those woofers and I find that while all of the woofers are awesome I would go with the Treo SSX. Made for street beating with huge spiders and 4" coil. That would be my pick. Also you will never find Treo products online because they like to protect there dealers from having to deal with the internet crap, and if you do find it online there is no warranty no matter what anyone tells you, that is printed on all of there literature and I think is on there website also.

I'd get the Brahma or the XXX, they'll slaughter the ssx in terms of linear output and accuracy.

For all you guys who say XXX than read the question again. He doesnt want a good sounding woofer only, he is considering competing and 'WE ALL KNOW' RE cant do figures ( lol ).

Treo SSX is definately the best sub not only comparing to RE and Adire, but the best from all brands.
