I'll be getting two DD9515a2's in the near future and have seen that thay reccomend 1.5~3 cubic feet ported to each sub. I ran the specs through my program and came up with 1.78 cubic feet per sub tuned to 45 HZ. The enclosure would have a QI of 7. The ports would be 4" in diameter with a length of 6.3". Now.....for the questions. If anyone has DD's what is your opinion as far as enclosures go? Any suggestions to what would be a great enclosure for these subs? I'm open to new ideas. Accounting for cabin gain, do you think I could get good extension of low bass say down to 30 HZ? Concerning power, I was thinking of getting two Nexus Lion class D amps which are rated at 2000 watts @ 2ohms. Does anyone have other suggestions for powering these subs? I want to stick with class D monoblocks to keep it easier on my alternator.Thanx
