I'd like to run a separate bass control knob off a pair of subs. so looking for some pointers

Ok. 1 get the accompanying module withthe amp. 2 do the same, but with the cross-over. 3 get a bass-cube/Epicenter or the like. 4 get a deck that has a separate bass-output and control the subs through there. 5 make your own bass control knob with an L pad and existing cables (one design could be RCA/RF cables, another is with the speaker cables from the sub amp itself.) Many manufacturers make those kinds of modules toplug into their amps and crossovers, or make the model of the amp/crossover with that particular module in it. I think even SOAT, Profile, and Crossfire make such equipment, not to mention the powerhouses: Kicker, Fosgate, MTX, Pheonix Gold, PPI, Orion, etc.
