Many of yall may not remember this or even know this but in 1989 MTX had a series of subs out that was totally awesome. The model number began with RFL just like their new series does however these subs were called "CRANKERS" and let me tell you they were that. Was the first sub I ever saw that the 12" had a 230 oz magnet on it. Saw it then thought it was the coolest name bought a pair and still have them to this day.

Just my thoughts.

Yeah, the Godfather was cool, and the Rose series was nice too.

So, how many companies are making a "Beast" now?

Heres a sub line for ya
"That" entry level model
"This" mid level
"My buddy's" top dawg

You should check out "That" sub.
Is "This" sub any good?
If you think thats loud, you should hear "My buddy's".

Wouldnt that make reading the posts on here a real pain!

Let me add HART subs to it. It was more the sub than the name that was impressive though. Who else was making a 10 inch sub that could handle 1000 watts rms in 1990. So to me Hart was the true name for a sub for awhile!
