Example-

Basically I just wanted to know if you have 6 subs that have a rms of 300 and max 500-(GREATER CONE AREA)-outweigh 2-3 subs with a rms of 600 and a max of 1000-which would be louder??Also the subs are given their rated max power-Does cone area play a major role in this situation?

cone area and wattage goes hand in hand

3 subs with 1000watts will be about the same output as more subs on less power.

main difference is the multi subs on less power don't have to work so hard but the downfall is more box is required thus you loose interior space.

its really going to be your choice and budget and space requirements that dictate which is better.
