Well, i dont really like the way the box came out, the guy at home depot was a 1/2'' off here and there on the cuts, so it came out a lil wierd. Tell me what ya think, if my corrections are right, its about 6.4 cubes before sub/port displacement, with 130 sq'' of port tuned to about 42-44. Not sure if im gonna keep this box or just say screw it and get some more mdf and build a new one!
The first pic, is up here for tempe! This is my spare bathroom after cutting some wood in there lol

the rest are 2 almost finished pics of the box, had to cut little pieces of wood to fill in/brace the box where needed.

Tell me what ya think,Thanks

it looks to me that your port is to close to the back wall for ex. if your port is 15hx8win then it has to be atleast 8in from the back wall does this sound correct? who knows more about this

It needs to be half of the width, so if its 8 inches wide it needs to be 4 inches from the back wall.

Alright, port width = 9in. actual distance from back of port to back wall = 5.25''(about). As for bracing, the front is 2 pieces for each side, and most of the back wall is doubled too. Cant wait to see how this sounds. Though i was gettin my sub today, but just checked ups, and its a good 200+ miles away =O(

Ok heres the story. The screw-up at home depot cut my sides about 1/4 to short. So there was a gap in between the sides and back. So as i was sittin around tryin to figure out what i was gonna do, i decided to put 2 scrap pieces of wood on each side to make up for the gap. I hope that helps ya understand what i did lol, just confused myself a lil bit
