I might sellone of my 15" L5 dual 4ohm sub, for 200 bucks for my friend, soon as i let him know about it. But i have the speakers in a 4.8cf per chamber, vented each chamber. I was wondering if i sell one, could i cut the box in half, or its no good? Because its not a whole chamber inside the box, its divided...hopefully you see what i saying, selling it because i can't fit the box in my new car i got. 1 15" would be good for me, than i can use the 200 bucks to buy some wires and rear coaxials...The subs are only 3 days used.....

possible or not possible? Than i can carpted the other side, which i cutted out *sounds stupid* but i just need to know!......... Click here to see the box...

You can cut it in half, but the side that you want to keep, make sure you cut on the OUTSIDE of the chamber divider. Then once you can see everything that you are going to be cutting, then you can touch up and make it look more flush. The other side will be trash though. Just sell the sub alone, you'll have no probs selling it without a box.

It is really easy if the box is small enough to fit on a table saw. I've done it probably 5 times. Than just bust out the sander an your done.

i might sell it than, ya gonna do it safe as i can.
i spend big bucks on this box $235, ya, i think the dude ripped me off. There goes $115 part of the box.....but its wierd, now i'm gonna face it to the rear, and the port is gonna facing sideways.....is this okay? Because my suv, the port was facing up and the sub face me.....

gonna sell it because that the dude i only know who wants to buy it, and i dunno if anyone wanna buy it online...easy money...use it to buy comps...

thanks!

the only thing, when i cut it in half, hopefully this half will fit in my trunk....i gotta do some measurements ASAP before i sell this sub... should i sell it than?!?! than i can use that money to buy some comps.....
