Well if i can have space in my trunk, looking for sealed or ported box, probably under 3.0cf-2.5cf or less. Gonna use a Visonik 900XD amp. Produce 1ohm at 1500watt, so i would assume around 1400watt. Pair of 12s, 1 12", 2 10" or 1 15" would be nice!
Mainly 60% SPL 40% SQ
What would be a good sub!
*or i should just shut my mouth, and get a single 12" IDMAX that would explain it all!!**
*need opinions thats all*

DD9515 ~$400
The 9500 series just took two dB drag world records. the 9917s took annother two. I'd like to see another subwoofer manufacturer that holds 4 World records. The 9500s and 9900s are the best subs in the world.
I have a pair and love em with 800W/ea. I have yet to hear louder. Can handle 2500Wrms, 5000Wrms+ for burps.

the DD 9515s are nice subs, just a little lacking in the lower bass, tuen to about 34 or so and its nice and damn loud. for SQ 3.5 cubes is about the biggest I would go. if you would like a used 9515 let me know jcoffthehook@msn.com

Yah a system I help build for SPL...well daily driving we had 4 A7HC's on them at half power...close to 3000w MUSIC for daily driving....158dB music from that and the subs didnt smell or stress until we played anything lower than 40hz (box was SPL tuned to ~50hz). SPL burping (had 2 9515's) about 6000w each and we were testing them for quite a while at full volume...tested for about and hour of burping and the subs never smelled and the magnets were warm not even close to being hot. 95's could probably take 12,000w burps before having problems. Of course you dont want to send clipped signals or distortion. (DD tech said they can take about 12,000w MAX for SPL burps). Great subs that last and take power easily.

nofriends46, I agree with jigaboo_18, get a pair of the blueprint 1203's and you won't be dissapointed. I too am asking for the same thing you are asking, a 60/40 SPL/SQ setup, and a dual sub setup. Too me, I don't need these huge one subs that will take just like 2000W rms because be serious, you'll never put 2000W for just daily driving (unless you are deaf, crazy, and want to compete, and I am not hating on any of the competetors or anyone out there puttings like 3-4+ amps on their subs) I am in the same phase you are, I want to upgrade and I really want a great loud sub with tight bass, so when I have the money (hopefully after Christmas) I will be buying a pair of 1203's and a MTX Thunder 81000 to pair them and then building a sealed box for them (might go ported later on) and I am sure that bass will keep me happy for a long time, and I am sure it will keep you happy too. Good price and from what I have heard, the Blueprint drivers are amazing subs. (heard the 1503 might compare to the eD 15SP?) Good luck, tell us what you decide on. Hope I helped.
P.S. This message doesn't mean to start anything with anybody who competes, I have a lot of respect for everyone who does, but when you're my age (16) and you're parents won't let you have a job because of school, you don't have money to spend. Believe me, if I had a job, I would probably be buying the top of the line stuff by now, but I'm not, so I have to live with it, and I appologies in advance if I offend anyone.

If your only looking for some loud good bass I'll say the idmax has more sq than the other subs mentioned. if you want loud I'll go out on a limb and say for the price there's csx 15"s in term classified from fester I'm in the process of getting one from him. they're louder than the ssx and the ssx have a claimed 4" excursion. I know the ssx get loud because the new kove armageddon u2's are spec'd the same & look identical and have the same 4" claimed excursion and I got to hear a local shop owners pair in a crx off a mtx 81000d each. If I'm wrong about the u2 my bad but the treo were around much longer and are way cheaper online used so I like the treo's better anyway.
