I'm building a wedge-shaped box for 2 12" subs, they require 2ft^3 a piece. When determininng the exterior mesurements (I already have the ideal interior meausrements) How do I factor in the 3/4 inch thinkness of the wood? Thanks!

Hmmmm, alittle backwards of the figuring of the enclosure dimensions, so, to determine the outside dimensions I would draw the side view of the enclosure I.D spec's and them add 3/4" greater to that, draw the lines and then measure the O.D. lines for the finish outside spec's.

I beg to differ on just adding an 1½" to the overall internal dimension for this reason: In a wedge shape design when dealing with the angle the dimensional length grows, the greater the angle, the greater the length. Along with that the top and bottom dimensions do not grow in length exponential to the internal and external dimensions due to the angle. Merely adding 1½" will do two things, throw off the volume of the enclosure and change the angle of the wedge design.
For this reason is why when I build any enclosure dealing angles I always draw a layout and measure the I.D. and O.D. insecting points for the correct angle of the wedge and the true length of the top and bottom dimensions.
