I want either 2 12" subs or 1 15" sub in my 92' Plymouth Sundance hatch. A few stipulations.
1. I would like SQ and SPL subs. What brand?
2. I have a Pioneer Premier PRS-X720 amp I wish to use. If that is too little of power ( [Frown] ) what should I look to buy?
3. I am not necessarily keeping this in my Plymouth. I may change cars at some point.
4. A smaller box is better (small trunk) but if I can't have that the so be it.
5. My budget is between $400-800 CND for subs.
6.I am new here I thank you for all your input and aid.

2 10's Audiobahn AW1051X Natural Sound Woofer
92' Plymouth Sundance (Hatch)
Blaupunkt Casablanca CD50
Pioneer Premier PRS-X720
6th Order Band Pass (Tuned for SQ)
137.2 db window/162.4 db port

You might consider 2 shiva's. They would fit into the lower end of your price range. They have very respectable sq and spl. IMHO the best price value on a sub out there right now.

Shiva's are 12" subs from Adireaudio. Check them out at www.adireaudio.com , they are very nice subs for the price. Sound really good and also pound.

Thanks for you suggestion, I really appreciate it. Someone also suggested Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 Subwoofers. What do you all think?

The subs mentioned so far are good subs

You should also check out Beyond Audio - X-ones

Great SPL and SQ drivers rated at 600wrms seem to work well with 300 - 800wrms

Check out

Jonny84, I think I know you. In fact, I'll bet my Inhuman is louder than your subs. [Razz] Just razz you Jon. Hehehe

Go with X-Ones man. Email Don, he'll tell you all you need to know.

LEt me see I paid $325 for my box and subs, and 300 for my amp. You paid $700 for just your sub, I think You have an advantage slightly. [Smile]
