I have a RF punch250a2 and i'm currently running a single Dr. Crankenstein 12 spl sub. I have the amp bridged with the gains all the way down. I am thinking of getting 2 12"XLC's because they should be able to take all the power this amp can give. I am kinda thinking of getting 2 12" RF DVC's but I was wondering if I will have enough power. Will i get louder on xlc's than dvc's? Considering the dvc can take 500rms and i've got 250rms to split between 2 subs. Would it be a good choice to go with dvc's? Or should I stick with xlc'c?

I just read my post and it sounded kindof confusing. Hears what I want to know. Will I be louder with XLC's than DVC's because with DVC's I'd be giving them such a small percentage or their reccomended power? Sorry for the confusing question.

Kinda hard to say exactly which would be louder. The XLCs are more sensitive so with that much power they may be louder. However, if you ever want to add a second amp, then the DVCs would go further. I'd opt for the DVCs.

I agree with what you say dukk, I'm not in the market for a seccond sub amp for a while so I want something that will work great for now. I was also considering a pair of 12w3's, read my previous post titled "XLC vs W3" I'm hoping to be fairly loud so I'ed like to make the most of my punch 250a2
