I getting ready to begin construction on a sealed isobaric clamshell config with 2 15" RF Series One speakers ('93?). I am figuring about 3.5 ft^3 net vol. Could someone please check this size? Specs. below In mounting them, I am thinking of using 3 in. bolts and mount them on the box sticking out (studs). Then sandwich a piece of MDF between the two drivers and put a nuts on the top. Is there a better/easier way to do this? Finally, is about 1 lb/ft^3 of wal-mart polyfill ok? Is something different used in subs? Thanks. Here are the subs specs.

Here is a really rough sealed box tip: Divide the Vas number by 3-4 to get the sealed box requirements (don't tell anyone ) Iso needs half that so for your S1s go for a 2 cuft sealed box (could vent it too, but 2.5 is better vented) Yes WalMart polyfill is perfect. I usually just drop one woof in the hole, drop the other on top, and use some long screws to hold it all together. As long as the gasket is taller than the surround then it works fine. Don't forget to reverse the polarity of the top woof!

And that's the bottom line, cuz: LORD DUKK SAYS SO!

Do you not have enough room to put them each in a sealed? I used to have the same subs about 2 years ago. My first system (those were the days..haha)'
if not...i'd take dukk's USUAL advice and port the iso box.
Make sure you run them mono in iso!!
I experienced this problem once when the bass line of a song was left channel only!!
i hate having to edit my messages!! AHHHH
