K im ready to start my spl car : ) Ive did some price checking On RF Punc. Punch XLC, Memphis SPL. I can get Punch 15's for 120 a peice, XLC 15's "cant find them ina store anywhere here" but Someone told me 180 a peice, and the Memphis SPL 15's are 170 a peice. Going to be getting 4 Punch 15's if I go with punch and then 2 Memphis or 2 15 XLC's. So my main question is will I have a huge gain with the 4 Punch subs over the 2? Assuming a good install . Also Ive considered Power DVC 15's. But they seems to be alittle outa my price range, unless I can use the amp i have "700 watts" but that seems like it would starve them subs. Thanks for input! OO BTW this are all going in a 90 cavalier in a V shaped wall.

First off a 600 watt amp is a little bit small for 4 15's. Why don't you get 2 DVC 15's, they should be around the same price as 2 of the punnch 15's. You could give them around 350 watts a piece dropped into 2 ohms. Would proably sound better being the subs aren't starving for more power.

Well here are my plans on setups
Off the kicker amp
4 Punch 15's = Series/parellel so I get a 4ohm load then bridges so i get a 2ohm load.
that should give each sub about 150-200watts.
2 Power DVC ="I need prices for this" But they seems outa my price range
2Memphis SPL 15's = 300 per sub.
2 Punch 15's = 300 per sub "Punch 15's are rated 200/300 watts I beleive so I wouldnt be really starving them"

I would like to go with the DVC but I cant find them anywhere! So if someoen could give me some average prices please do so

Chech out www.mmxpress.com - They have some great prices for Fosgate stuff. I recently purchased 2 - 15" Power DVC's for $265 each.

600 watts is barely enough power for 1 Power DVC let alone two. I think RMS is like 1000 or 1200.

I'm running a 225.2 into one RF DVC 15" and it takes it just fine. I think two of those would be your best bet.
