That pretty much sums up the entire weekend I had with Chris at Audio Thunder, but let me recap...
I arrived late Thursday night in Ft. Wayne, In at Chris's CRIB about 7PM after a 11 hour drive from Arkansas.
Norrisville is 'off tha hook'!!! There were several high end installs going on at the same time with several volunteer help working on them.
Pizza arrived around 11pm. I went to the hotel around midnight.
We planned on loading Shaker's ride at 8am so I got up early. When I arrived, everyone was asleep. Chris had a 'booty call' show up around 8:30AM and that got people moving around the house. At 8:32AM Chris was done and we starting on Shakers truck
Little did I know, they had more testing to do on Shakers truck.
First test - not good
Time to rebuild. We got done at Noon. Mind you, we had to travel 6-8 hours to Candada and check in.
Second test - not good
Ok, time to rebuild ........... again.
Third test - Yaaayy - Time to leave.
We left at 3:30. If any of you have never rode with Chris let alone try and follow behind him, your in for a surprise. I believe Chris had the truck and trailer in 3 different lanes at the same time
Boarder crossing went well. We could have smuggled in all kinds of goodies. I made $58 Canadian when changing in my US Currency!
We arrived at the Hotel street beatin' with a Ganster lean going on. Shaker was waiting outside to check out the vehicle in person for the first time.
So up to the hotel room. Come to find out, I was crashin' with both Norris and Shaker in a smoking room. By the way, I am allergic to smoke. This was going to be a fun night.
The rollaway didn't show up for our room for another 3 hours. That hotel sucked!
We ordered Pizza at 1:30am. Shaker was pissed.
We arrived at the Center at 8am. Thats the time they were told to check in. Guess what ... that was when registration was. Couldn't get in untill 9am. The rest of the dB Drag racing staff didn't show up untill close to 10am.
The show started off slow ( about 12 noon ) and slowly built up speed.
I'm sure everyone has seen the HUGE # from the show. Truely impressive for this early in the season. The show concluded at 10PM. That was a long day. Good thing Norris and Shaker pussed out and went back to hotel to sleep around 6PM.
Show is over ... now what to do? Oh, I know .... STRIP CLUB!!!! I rode with Pez and Wayne to Toronto's best club, WHISKEY's! Norris, Shaker and Frank(20hz) showed up later. This placed ROCKED! ( What happens at Whiskey's stays at Whiskey's )
So after cleaning Franks's vehicle of Donuts ( long story ) we left. We made a few stops at some 'spas' but no action. Shaker and I was dropped off at the hotel while Norris and Frank went 'hunting' more prime locations. Norris arrived banging on the hotel door at 6am.
Second day of the show. I could't get in. I didn't have my pass. We finally got that cleared up. The show ran really really quick. We had a dead line of 2pm to meet. We got done around 2:15pm I think.
Right before the show ended, it started snowing. Now I am from Arkansas. Yes it does snow here. But finding out its snowing in Toronto and we had to travel home with truck and trailer that night did scare me alittle bit.
Well first thing first, we had to go eat. We found a Texas steak house ( Lone Star ) nearby. That was very unusually seeing a Texas steak house in Canada eh?
The more we ate the more it snowed and the more we relized we wasn't leaving. So what does that mean? Time to get S**t faced . Some models from the show showed up later for dinner.
Needless to say we have so cool pics of them. BLING BLING!!!!
So we walked across the parking lot to the hotel to try and scam them with a PriceLine.com quote.
Well that didn't work. Later that night Chris meet up with a lovely respectable young lady he meet at the Strip Club the night before. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep.
We left about 10am the next morning. It didn't snow as bad as we thought.
Boarder crossing was easy again. After the long trip home, we finally arrived at Norrisville.
Tuesday morning I left to drive home and got in around 8:30PM
I want to thank Chris and Shaker for the great weekend I had at Audio Thunder. It was a once in a life time experience. I look forward to SBN.

Sounds about right to me. You left out the part about Chris having a Krispie Kreme in his hands the entire time. You also left out the part about having pizza for breakfast! Posts: 1679 | From: Michigan | Registered: Nov 2002
