I know on the MTX amps you have to use a phase shifter on the old ones. But on the new ones you just hit the 180 switch. And use the + on one amp for the pos wire and + on the other amp for the neg. The neg wil be the amp that is shifted 180. but I dont know about other amps but if you find out something let me know. PM me.

It should be moderately simple to "bridge" any pair of true mono amplifiers: Bridging two factory bridged mono amplifiers will not work

Under "conventional" thinking, thats correct. It is possible though.... i think there was quite a spirited debate on it a while back I strapped two "non bridgable" 2 channel crossfire VR202 amplifiers with good results. The only real issue is creating multiple input signals that are compeltely alligned in phase and amplitude, while keeping them compeletely electrically isolated.
The isolated signals that I was able to attain were not of very high quality only about the quality of radio reception (AHEM AHEM ). But it did work.
Figure out a way to compeltely isolate the input signals, and you can strap as many amps as you want in series all day long.

With parallel strapping, the voltage outputs of each amplifier need to be IDENTICAL. Unfortuantely just matching the gains is not enough for this. If the outputs are not identical, the amps will most likely fry.
If it were that easy, I think a lot of people would already be doing it

then, playing a test tone... measure the output voltage on the amp.. match the 2 amps using the Gain Control.
I wouldn't suggest switching the signal wire and ground on the rcas as a means of inverting the signal. If you do this, you will be essentially grounding out the signal, and bad things will most likely result.
