Don't know if this is the right category, but I don't know where else to put it. I want to get a car sub and amp, because they are cheaper than a home audio sub and amp. How would I connect these up to run on household current? They have them running this way at SoundDecisions and other places that sell car audio, so it should work. Thanks in advance for your help...

This is the stereo that sits in my living room. We are acutally using an 8D battery now (about 135 lbs). Total system power=2400 watts RMS

Yeah, pretty much.
You need to take care of it though if you do it that way. Make sure you don't just leave the charger on all the time (overcharge the battery), and also make sure you have a charger that is up to the task when the stereo IS playing.
