my friends system is so loud that it the music skips. is there a way to make it stop skipping and keep the system cranked?

i think its a pioneer. its one of them 1.5dit style ones. I don't think it's stock, because it has a sub-out rca cable, and its in a 1989 cavalier.

I had the same problem with my car while the subs baffle mounted to the car. The vibration of the sub was shaking the car directly causing skipping in the CD player. I have since mounted the subs in a conventional box that's not attached in any way to the car directly and the cd player never skips.
