well first you would have to know what Xmax means to you, since Xmax is not standardized if you consider Xmax to be what DLC considers it to be, then all you have to do is build your own DUMAX machine from the ground up or get a hold of ultra-expensive FEA magnetics software to get a pretty darn good approximation --------------------http://www.sounddomain.com/id/xr7_sport

well it's not that important I just needed it to calculate portnoise in win isd, so i guess if I set a bit too high ill be in the clear-zone I kinda knew it wouldnt be so easy, but you never know... -------------------- SOMEONE DELETED MY POST ABOUT FOOTBALL...

well i'm sure if you can supply Dan Wiggins with certain info like top plate thickness, voice coil diameter, impedance, pole-vent diameter, and maybe some other stuff, he might have time to conjure up an FEA model to give you a best case scenario but then again, he is a busy guy....try emailing him at this Adire addy...you never know --------------------http://www.sounddomain.com/id/xr7_sport

You could always glue a small mirror on the cone and use a laser to measure travel. Just like physics 101 back in high school

well, thats somewhat less than I would expect they claim that the cone has a throw of 50mm, but I guess that's just how far the suspension, allows you to move the cone when you would push it, to its farthest extent -------------------- SOMEONE DELETED MY POST ABOUT FOOTBALL...
