im trying to determine more about the details of BL or whatever is thr proper term for it...

im sure there is a specs that measures the strength of a magnet/top/bottom plate assembly...

is a there a similar specs that can be applied to a coil??

if so, what can you change to that coil and keep that spec the same/what determines the coil stregth.. is there a formula for how much strength a coil has with a given number of windings of a certain guage?

The force obtained from the VC is a factor of the field strength, number of turns on the VC and the current passing through it. The weight of the coil and cone assembly don't matter.
A good example is a DVC sub. With the coils in series, we have 2N turns and I current. With them in parallel, there are N turns and 2I current. Power remains the same in each case and so does motor force.

The only way to increase BL is to increase the field strength by making the gap smaller, using a bigger diameter magnet or a magnet with higher gauss rating. Alternatively, you can increase the current passing through the VC or even add turns to the VC.

So really your options are simple. If the woofer is already built, which I imagine it is, increase current to increase motor force.
