Will it work or fail miserably? I have an IB setup in my trunk and want to capture all the energy that is going into making my trunk lid shake like a belly dancer. I want to keep all my trunk space tho, just have a couple hanging ports from the old 6x9 cutouts that I sealed for the IB setup.

Thx.

Just will be a rather large leaky ported box.

I mean it won't do anything that a regular ported box wouldn't do. You could probably model your trunk (rough guess) on a computer to see how it would perform.
