should I worry about rear port air velocity
for the box I am planing on building it is at 62ft/s for the frequency I plan to burp at

yes.
try to keep it near 17meters/second.... 3.25ft = 1 meter

you can prolly get away with 20 m/s tho without hearing any noise.

port noise is horrible, and if the air velocity gets much above 17m/s then you'll start having problems.

I don't think I will have any port noise problem since I will be rounding over the edges of the vent and the vent is going to be 15.5x11.5 I think that is to big for port noise to occur.

I am more worried about the spl side of it
