I'm trying to make a connector that will connect my h/u faceplate to the main unit with a ribbon cable. I've already bought the male and female connectors but need to know how many contacts need to be on the ribbon cable. The unit is the CQ-DFX701U but I don't want to open up the main unit or faceplate to look if I don't have to. I've been waiting for the panasonic Research section to contact me back for almst a week now...

Any know the answer...?
