I saw on this website that Wayne will use new microphone?...
I'm curious to learn mor about this new stuff..
I know that condenser microphome are limited in part, because of the diaphragme non linearity at too high pressure or something like that... let's see : http://www.xprt.net/~rcrowley/AVclass/Aud-Ccon.htm
Now, Are the new mic continu to use this concept of condenser mic, or it's totally a different..
I already imagine a microphone using the variation of the index of refraction of air to give the pressure information.. let's say:
Air pressure to be measured between a constant and regulated Ir source and a prism attached to a Ir photodetector. When the pressure change, the Ir light beam change of trajectory because of the refraction index of air change, and the photodetector measure less or more light intensity.. this intensity is transform into current and into current to voltage converter and finally into spl meter...
To avoid temperature influence problem, a constant monitoring thermistor is attached to the unit the compensate the value with electronic circuit...
maybe i explain my concept too complicated, but that very easy to understand..
Any othe idea of ULTRA HIGH MICROPHON CONCEPT???
WHO is the compagny taht buld these new termpro mic??
