Has anyone ever fired a vented enclosure into another enclosure.
for instance 1.3 cu ft, port= cone area /2 tuned to 45Hzs (peak 12-15 dbs higher than tuning). firing into 2.6 cu ft, port = cone area tuned to 52 Hzs, (peak 9-7 dbs higher than tuning). looking for a 56-58 Hzs. peak

Such a box would not be easy to build or even test. I don't see why for the love of god you want to do this. If you want a big peak at a single frequency, use a big vented box tuned high.

What you describe is called a 6th order series tuned bandpass. Some of the more advanced design programs (e.g. LEAP) will design and analyze those.

no a vent emclosure firing the port in another vented enclosure where the port is unloaded to the outside. not a vented enclosure on each side of the sub.

If you are not describing a series tuned 6th order bandpass, then the box you are thinking of unfortunately has no advantages over other boxes..

That looks like an ABC box to me, if I understand it right.

nope, he said "the" port, meaning one, firing into another ported box, not one port firing to the outside, and another into a ported box, which then fires outside, which is an ABC box

Oh, I didn't notice that there was missing a port. Well then it's a box design that I haven't seen in use before. The guy who has that webpage seems to know what he's talking about so maybe it's something to try.

Well there was a guy in meca that used one small sealed box with a sub in it just siting inside a huge ported enclosure and he has world record right now. so I guess it is a point of figuring it out
