I respect Nelson Pass very much, and his circuits are very simple and get the job done. Since it is much harder to get a simple circuit to meet the requirements than it is to get a complicated circuit to do it, the man is obviously very smart. But in some cases I think the designs could benefit from some additional complexity to help out with certain aspects.
But if you aren't real skilled in circuit design, his projects are simple and easy to build. But if you just want to build a pre-existing amp design I think there are better, unless you want the space heater functionality of Pass's designs.
