Which has a higher output capibility with concern of a bandpass?? Given that the enclosures are properly tuned, aligned, etc, etc..
If a 15in radiator is used, will it have the same output as a 150-170in2 vent. I know that the PR will have a shallower rolloff, but will it match the output of a port??
Has anyone experimented with an Acoustic Lever?? I was doing some research and found that Dr. Geddes discovered this enclosure in 1999. He claims it has a 6dB gain over conventional single and dual reflex bandpasses. The big down falls are enclosure volume is increased and the complication of design!!

Pasive radiators use less space, but they are dificult to tune.
Ports use more space and they are easier to tune.
In my opinion go with ports. Cheaper, easier to tune, can block some and make combination between SQ and SPL...

one thing that Dr. L frogot to say, was that with pass. rad. there is no port noise. the tuning of pass. rad. includes weights and I think 2 other things
