Umm.. I would think a better way to do it would be to put a pushbotton lead across your RCA's, because if you power the remote terminal, the amp has to turn on, and there is the turn on pop..

I am not a big spl competitor, I have found the mute button on my deck works pretty well :-) Or the power button, because most head units warm up where you shut them off...

Just a couple thoughts.

Or if you've got a CD player you could just use the pause button.

I was thinking of wireing in a little burp button in my car. Just something to look cool, and spaz out old folks when im at a stop light. I wana like, get a lighted momentary pushbutton switch. Maybe get it lettered at the factory to say like, burp or danger or something. I was thinking just like wire it across the RCA's.

Yes, you COULD do a simple switch on your remote lead. That WILL turn your amplifiers ON and OFF, therefore allowing you to, IN EFFECT, burp your system.

You could make a simple RCA burp, which is simply a switch on either the shield or the post of each RCA, that you can flick on or off, giving you, in EFFECT, a burp.

You could burn your frequency onto a CD, after 5 seconds or so, so that it played along quiet and then BURP, then quiet, then BURP. Get that one?

You could use the mute button on your deck, voila, burp button- Pick the song, crank the volume, hit the mute- When it gets to your point, hit the mute again, giving you, in EFFECT, a BURP.

You could PAUSE the disc (should you have a pause button) Turn the volume UP, and get the disc where (about) you want it.. Then, hit the pause button- When the time comes to play your note- hit the pause again, giving you, in EFFECT, a BURP.

You could put a LARGE, HIGH POWER switch across the B+ wire running to your amps! You could take a fuseblock, and tap a screwdriver to it, giving you, in EFFECT, a BURP!!!! (I'm joking on this one, btw!)

These are all options.

PICK ONE YOURSELF. Tell us what you would like to do, and if you need any more advice, I will then try to assist you in any way I can!

Good LUCK!
