Does anyone know if the new L7's are better than the old ones?

Kicker claims they are. I have one of the old ones, and a new one. Together you cannot tell a differance between them. The new ones have a taller surround, and the magnet/motor is a little larger. They look like they might hold up better. I can't really tell much diff.. Don't know what would be the diff on a meter.

With a bigger surround and a larger magnet, the differences would probably occur at higher xmaxs.
