Has anyone had experience with usd horns? I know they are the originators with the Grand National. What is your estimation of them. I am thinking about getting the D-200's, but don't know if the SQ would be up to par. Do you know if they would "mesh" well with Focal 6k1 Kevlar line mid-bass drivers? Have you seen a Ford Focus with horns yet?

Thanks

Ya, I think I am going to give them a call. I was just wondering if anyone had heard that model or if they know anything about them. In the description it says, great for SPL systems. That concerns me as I want SQ. I was looking at the D-200 because of price difference between them and the next up ($330 vs. $800).

Are there any other horns you would recomend? I'm open to other manufacturers.

I use Image Dynamics CD2 MH's. I am very happy with them. I use them in pair witha set of Dynaudio MW170 midbass drivers. Picked them, only because I like ID as a buisness.

they probably say that they are good for SPL systems because the efficiency of their horns are so high. I can't remember, but I think they had one set of horns that had almost a 110 db 1watt/1meter efficiency!!!!!
