My Fosgate Power 1100a2 has a problem. The left gain knob doesn't do anything when i turn it. The right one works fine. Is there any easy way to fix it? Please hurry, i need to fix it before i give my senior presentation for school

If its not under warrenty, open the case and just look at the left gain knob. If anything looks like it may have been connected to the terminals of the knob(ie: solder not "soldered" onto anything, broken solder, bare wire just hanging out in the area) resolder whatever you find. or just take it out and bring it to your local RadioShack and ask the oldest, most disgruntled person in the store to help you find a replacement potentiometer. and please give them your name and address or prepare to feel the wrath of someone that works on total commision...

FEAR ME!

before you go ripping anything out check and see if the little plastic knob piece is stripped out.

Sure, the gain knob does nothing. But does the left channel seem muted or full blast?

The left channel seems muted with minimal bass. I think the radio shack idea sounds best. And no its not stripped I can turn it back and forth.

Thanx guys!
