Nope, I've never used it. I always wanted to try it out, but the demo I found isn't one you can use, and I can't justify the cost for the little use it would get. The crossover portion of it seems to be a better tool than what I have found so far.

I have had LEAP for 2 years(anxiously awaiting the new windows version) and I LOVE IT!! I have 4 or 5 programs on my comp and LEAP seems to be the most accurate that I have used.. I am not big on the DOS interface but the engineer has been working on that for about a year now so the new one should drop in the next few months.. F'ing rocks.. Old school yes but accurate and powerful. I don't build crossovers so I only got the enclosure module for $495.00.. Someday my next dream is to own LMS...

I use it. I only have the base setup. It, like other programs is kinda useless for a car. But you can definatly learn from it. They will be comeing out with a windows version any time now. I keep checking thier web site. Chris sent me some snag-it shots, and it looks 100% better. port phase and everything.

You really can not get everything out of LEAP without. LEAP asks for all of T/S parameters when you set up a driver in the library and since T/S parameters are usually done by pulling a woofer off the line every so often to make sure it is within spec (and you do not know how much leeway is given to still be in spec) they T/S are just a base.BUT with LMS ( loudspeaker measurement system) you know have the ability that some speaker manufacturers do not have! You can measure your actual T/S parameters yourself! and test amps (how do you think they do all of those neet little graph in your AS&S mags?
And yes I have BOTH! But it still don't garantee high numbers. Just makes you more knowledgeable about what you have

so will we be able to upgrade to the windows version? or are we screwed? we just paid alot of money for this, and if they are coming out with a windows version, and wont have updates, im going to be pretty pissed.

When Linear X upgrades their software you can usually purchase the upgrade. It is not as much as you initial purchase but it is usually not cheap either.

I was told that I would get the upgrade for free. I saved that email!
