Has anybody got a quick, easy diagram for an active lowpass crossover filter ?
I just need to get all the components than I can slap it together..

Thanks.

Good luck, it's not as easy as you might think...

If you mean a first order passive crosssover, it's only one componet you'll need, but an active x-o will require power supply and is a lot more difficult to construct.

Are you sure this is what you want?

It would be much easier to buy one...

Do a search on low pass active filter or subwoofer crossover on the net and you should find more than enough info to get started. They are very simple op-amp circuits and can be found in any op amp book.

I'd draw up a quick schematic but I won't be going home from work before 10PM today

Or WinISD has a Calculator with a diagram for the active LP...

You can also check your values for the caps in the calculator.

Sorry, didn't mean to be patronising.

A useful VB linkwitz riley crossover calculator.

or here is a nice thread if you want to use a basic follower based on FET's, BJT's, or even tubes. PCB artwork is posted. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=ffe300dbf6ff903e9483c7e520520355&threadid=1735
