Just use the CA3162(16pin) chip made by Intersil, it's a A/D converter for 3 digit display. You need to use it with the CA3161 (16 pin)Just go at this adress to fing the PDF file: http://www.intersil.com/data/fn/fn1/fn1103/fn1080/fn1080.pdf Also you can use it for other indicator like temp, current, etc

I Just post this info for all competitor who want to built a voltage indicator...
With this IC, you can built it for less then 15$...

Good find.

It looks very good, floating inputs, and multiplexed outputs. I think you should be able to use it with any BCD to 7 segment converter, not just the Intersil part too.
