I Just post this info for all competitor who want to built a voltage indicator...
With this IC, you can built it for less then 15$...

Just use the CA3162(16pin) chip made by Intersil, it's a A/D converter for 3 digit display. You need to use it with the CA3161 (16 pin)

Also you can use it for other indicator like temp, current, etc

Good find.

It looks very good, floating inputs, and multiplexed outputs. I think you should be able to use it with any BCD to 7 segment converter, not just the Intersil part too.
