I have a PS2 acting as a DVD player which is producing signal noise.

I am not sure if the noise is coming from the inverter or or PS@ itself.

What is th best way to help eliminate this type of signal noise?

odd. are you sure its the ps2 and not your amps signal wires?

check the signal wire for the ps2 and see if it runs near or crosses any power wires. check for loose grounds, and check all of your wiring in your amps. you may have noise in the signal and not know it (may be the ps2 made it more audible)

also.. to give you an idea if it's the inverter or not, run an extension cord out to your car and power the ps2 off that.. if that eliminates the noise it's probably your inverter.. once you track down the noise then you can try to eliminate it
