I found a site which have lot of info on what sound really is. I thought it was appropriate for this section of termpro, as they go pretty deep in the physics of sound. http://fridge.arch.uwa.edu.au/topics/acoustics/index_acoustics.html

I see that more and more people are looking at what really makes our cars do the proverbial "boom".
I think that is great.
If you like in depth research of acoustics and wave physics I suggest going to your local library or halfprice books and looking at a sixth edition College Physics textbook. (dont have specific name at hand). Also look up some acoustical engineering firms, and go tell them about what we do, I know in my experience they (acoustical engineers) have been VERY interested.
For anyone that cares for whats to come I think reflection and phase coupling is the "wave" of the future (pun intended). If anyone (electrical engineers or otherwise) feel the same and wants to get together to work on some ideas, I am always open to new things. just e-mail.
My Opus.
