im thinking of doing a horn design for my 2 idmax 12s, ive seen a couple of webpages on it, but confuse me more.
Q1: what is the cutoff frequency and how do you find it and what is the result with different freqs?
Q2: how do you find the right throat area?
Q3: how do you calculate the length of horn?

thanks for the time

Horns are huge and hard to tune, I would suggest going with a ported box unless you're dead set on a horn. I would not reccommend them to anyone that doesn't want to build about 4 boxes for trial and error tests.

You should design horns so that they take advantage of the shape of the cabin as well, not just rely on the horn itself.

They're big as well, unless you have a horn shaped car.

im not shure ID's would be a good choice for a true horn design.
something with less excursion, higher efficiency and a lower Qes would be better.
