i THINK this would only work for 1 single tone...
this also came up when fighting over the most free flowing exhaust and how Flowmaster's baffled design can actually have greater flow than the straight through pipes-- but.. uh.. i need enlightening.

The idea behind the baffles is to create higher air pressure, which in turn will act as a spring. By the way, Yamaha motorcycle division had quite abit of input to Yamaha's patented "YST" technology in their sub-woofers(home audio). The principals are the same, avoid air turbulance in the chamber. (round off any corners)
