I recently purchased a eclipse (CD5441) headunit for my car. I have a 2001 GT Eclipse, which has the antenna's made on the back glass. There are two antenna wires in the dash for the radio to use, and using one or both of them doesn't really work with the new head unit. I get some radio stations but not all of them like I did with the factory headunit. Does anybody have any suggestions why?

this may simply be a fact of upgrading to a better quality unit. Most high end aftermarket units do not get as good of radio reception as factory. That is just a trade off for the better unit and better sound quality, for less reception. It is a shame to pay extra for a good unit and then lose radio reception but I think all highend units are that way.
