ok.. when i crank my truck, the music will play normal.. but when i put it in drive or rev it up or anything like that, the highs make a horrible static noise that goes along with the engine. when i let off the gas, the noise gets quiet, but when i gas it again, it gets loud again. also, what can i do to keep my rca cables from hitting togather and making sounds through the subs?

thanks!

You have alternator hum--2 big causes You have your power wires run too close to your signal wires or your ground is not very good. Check these two things first.

i got a 93 std cab long bed
i had the same noise as u do about the feb of this year
wut i did was add a ground on the hu along with the stock ground and the noise went away

the reason i know it was the hu's ground was because i hooked up a speaker to the hu and now an amp, and it made the sound, so just make sure ur hu ground is good
there is alot of stuff grounded in the same spot on that truck, so adding will be better

peace Joakwin
