well, you guys seem to be a knowledgable bunch, so i'll toss this out to you all to chew on a bit. a few years ago i sold a car i had a bunch of equipment in and was in such a hurry to get all of it out that i left all of my cabling etc in the car. boy, am i regretting that now. well, one of the things left in the car was my epicenter remote. i'm currently in the planning stages of an install of some new/mostly "old" equipment, and this remote is on the "to do" list. AC says they want 43 bucks for a replacement. SURELY this can be done for less than half that price. anyone have a parts list/schematic or know of where i can get one?? thanks for the help guys.

For $43 plus shipping, pay the $43 bucks, it'll be worth the MONTHS of searching for "Propriatory" components. Let alone the schematic.

Must surely be just a variable resistor, there's no obvious reason to use anything else???

Unless it's a variable capacitor. Someone out there mush have one though.
