I have been wanting one of those nifty little speaker polarity checkers for a while.. There is one that has been out a few years that is self contained and does not need an external unit or CD to work with it.. I can't find it anywhere .. Anyone know where these are sold?

Nahh- he's talking about one that pulses the driver in question and has a couple of LED's that tell you whether phase in or phase out. Mine has an RCA connector and a banana plug...

It does run on a 9volt.....

Autosound 2000.

Rockford used to market one...but it was the AS2K version.

They shouldn't be that hard to make...

Oh well I may have to resort to one of the CD driven ones if I can't find the self contained unit.. Thanks anyway everyone! I will check Select Products out too..

I made a 9 volt unit with a button, alligator clips and 1 LED but I want one of the others, it would make it so much easier when you cant see the speakers and such..
